Thinking for oneself is exalted in the 21st century as it should be. Humans are made in the image and likeness of God and therefore should be thinking individuals. Unfortunately, this freedom of thought is often separated from an objective standard of truth. Truth is not created in the human mind but received in the mind as a gift from Truth, which is actually a Divine Person! Many Christians think they can pick and choose what they will believe, and this is done in the name of independent thought. Can we think for ourselves and submit to everything that Jesus teaches? Are these two items mutually exclusive? Are you an un”faith”ful bride?
